I tried the Google Phone option on an unlocked Safelink(using the Tracfone network) Blu View 2 (B131DL) and there's no "Call recording" option on the menu of the "Phone by Google" app

I'm a T-Mobile fan but I switched to US mobile on the Verizon WARP network. Love it so far. I didn't go with their T-Mobile GSM plan because it wasn't priority data.

While it may not be the most exciting answer, I'd likely just choose the regular Visible plan because it's simple & straightforward. Truly Unlimited, if deprioritized, with everything you need, nothing you don't, and a 5Mbs Hotspot as a sweetener, All for $25/mth. It's the Deal of he Century. If more of your average consumers knew about it, I suspect Verizon would have a difficult time convincing anybody to sign up for postpaid

Thanks to your earlier video, I have been on the TextNow Free plan for several weeks now. I put it on my previous Android phone. It works most of the time, but have had a few hiccups. Also, it does not work with the Yahoo Mail app. So not sure why since that was mentioned as should work. I am also on Visible using a newer Android phone. The hotspot data worked fairly well, even when prioritized. I just switched to the Visible Plus annual subscription. I need the Canadian support for an upcoming trip. Also nice to have high prioritized data, although I can't tell much of a difference. 5G UW is also working. I did verify that it went from 5 Mbps to 10 Mbps hotspot speed and it allows multiple devices to connect at the same time! Nice!

Used the previous Mint mobile plan in B.C. Canada. Didn't work at all. The local carriers would not accept the plan. Funny that, since the main spokes person and co-owner/investor is Ryan Renolds-- a Canadian. Can't say if the new plan is any better, but I would be very concerned and tend to not plan on it.

I know this is a year old now. We've had a line on Boost Infinite since Fall of 2023. We did a BYOD of my wife's iPhone 15 Pro Max and got the $25/month plan AND we got the RAINBOW SIM with the smart network switching. We have Dish Towers in our community and seem to get TMO when we travel. I think ATT is lower in the list for switching. A few things to consider. The messaging about the smart network is mixed. They don't promise it with the $25/month service. You have to have a compatible device and live in an area with the DISH towers. If not, you will get a TMO or ATT SIM. Second, there are no stores. Unlike Boost, Boost Infinite is on-line only. You are not going to a store to resolve any issues. Finally, Boost Infinite is post-paid, meaning you have to pass a credit check. If you don't have good credit, you are not going to get a line with Boost Infinite.

switched to us mobile from tmobile. works extremely well and in the few places that are rural gets double the speeds. the only downside is that if you live in a rural area, tmobile usually covers more rural than verizon and att. all i can say is that its worth paying $29/month than tmobile $70 a month

I dropped phones many times to the point I had to use a backup phone by just inserting the SIM card into the phone and voila 🤷🏻‍♂️ if a phone using eSIM breaks you'll need a backup phone that supports eSIM and WiFi connection to set it up 😡 if you're in the middle of nowhere without a WiFi you're doomed... eSIM is 👎👎👎👎👎

My question is: If you don't sign any contracts with dumb a$$ boost, why TF do we have to wait 12 fckikg months to unlock the devide even if you pay full price of the phone? This scam has to stop immediately!

It seems to only appear as an option with some photos on my phone, but when it’s there it’s definitely nice to have. I wish you could take a picture of a product and it would tell you where to buy it but it doesn’t seem to work for that. Maybe with Apple Intelligence in the near future it will do more. Fast forward to June of 2024 the prices have gotten a little better I pay $50.00 for 75 GB unlimited calls in Canada and unlimited text to Canada and USA

A new category to consider is device savings. Depending on the plan you can get additional savings on devices such as “free” iphones or androids, but may require to be on a more expensive plan depending on the carrier making it even more expensive than it should be
